Ohne Probleme setzte sich der FCC am Wochenende in seinen Testspielen Nummer zwei und drei durch. Am Samstag kamen die Mannen von Andy Wirth zu einem 7:1 Erfolg bei sengender Hitze in Hoch-Weisel. Gegen den Friedberger A-Ligisten, der allerdings schon zwei (!)Einheiten an diesem Tag absolviert hatte, hätte es bei besserer Chancenverwertung auch zweistellig enden können. Die Tore auf dem gut bespielbaren Rasen erzielten: 3x Pizzini, 2 x Heinz, je 1x Lehr und Cappacione.
Am darauffolgenden Sonntag setzte der Kreisoberligist MTV Gießen den Kleebachtalern etwas mehr zu, doch führte der gutspielende Gruppenligist zur Halbzeit bereits mit 3:0. Die zweite Halbzeit wurde aufgrund der Anstrengungen der vergangenen Woche etwas kräftesparender gespielt. Am Ende stand ein 4:1 Erfolg, bei dem Lehr,Hennen, J.Kaiser und Russo die Tore erzielten.
