Sofern der Wettergott mitspielt, startet die D1 bereits am kommenden Samstag in die Rückrunde. Zum Verfolgerduell in der Gruppenliga erwarten die Schmidt-Schützlinge den Tabellenzweiten VFB Gießen. Derzeit trennen die Derbykontrahenten nur zwei Punkte, dennoch schiebt Trainer Schmidt den Gästen die Favoritenrolle zu. "Ich hätte lieber noch vor der Winterpause gespielt. Da hatten wir einen Lauf mit 19 Punkten aus 7 Spielen.
